2011 NFL Fantasy Football Sleeper RB Beanie Wells

2011 NFL Fantasy Football Sleeper RB Beanie Wells

Beanie Wells has major sleeper appeal. The Arizona Cardinals seem to have big some issues in their backfield. First, they traded Tim Hightower to the Redskins. Last week, rookie rb Ryan Williams was lost for the season with a knee injury. And coach Ken Whisenhunt said, “that he feels no urgency to sign another running back.” And when the team does look for another running back they’ll most likely just be a backup. Whisenhunt is showing a his of faith in the Buckeye product, who has lots of talent just needs to get over the injury proneness. The fact that Wells is destined to see a featured role in the offense makes him a potential asset in fantasy land.  His current ADP of Round 10 on NFL.com makes him a draft steal.

2011 Is NFL Getting To Soft

2011 Is NFL Getting To Soft?

It things like this that makes me feel that the NFL is going down the drain. This is a perfectly clean hit nothing Suh could of done when he was already in the tackle motion. And he was fined… for how much you say? $20,000. That’s right. I don’t think the NFL actually cares about defense. What happened to playing hard nose football and laying the wood on offensive players? Now you have to stop and think about laying a hit on a guy and try and hit inside a small tackling box. This isn’t Major League Baseball. Come on NFL toughen up and let the defense play. They make millions of dollars they know what dangers they are getting themselves into. Please get back to football and or we’ll end up watching NFL and they all have flags on. No Fun League

2012 NFL Draft: Top 5 Wide Receiver Rankings

August 24th, 2011 by admin

2012 NFL Draft: Top 5Wide Receiver Rankings

    1. Alshon Jeffery*, WR, South Carolina

    Height: 6-4. Weight: 233.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2012): Top 10 Pick.

Alshon Jeffrey enters the college football season as the top receiver. He is extremely tall and athletic, with the speed to beat defensive backs all day. He is a physical beast. As a freshman he caught 46 passes for 763 yards and six touchdowns. Last year, he dominated the SEC with 88 receptions for 1,517 yards and nine touchdowns. Jeffrey put up that massive production with an average quarterback, Stephen Garcia, and an offense that featured a strong running game with freshman tailback Marcus Lattimore. Jeffrey should be a high first-round pick in 2012.

  1. Justin Blackmon*, WR, Oklahoma State
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 208.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2012): Top 15 Pick.

Justin Blackmon would have been a first-round pick had he declared for the 2011 NFL Draft. Blackmon had an amazing season where he was a constant source of big plays for the Cowboys. He hauled in 111 passes for 1,782 yards and 20 touchdowns. He made everyone at Oklahoma State forget about Dez Bryant. In every game that Blackmon played in 2010 he went over 100 yards. Blackmon has fabulous quickness and speed. That allows him to constantly get separation from defensive backs. He has quality size and hands to go along with that speed. If he can avoid an injury, Blackmon should have another banner season with signal-caller Brandon Weeden, and that should solidify Blackmon’s stock as a top 16 pick.
  2. Jeff Fuller, WR, Texas A&M
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 215.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
    Projected Round (2012): 1-2.

The Aggies had a great junior season from wide receiver Jeff Fuller. He caught 76 passes for 1,066 yards and 12 touchdowns. Fuller is a big physical receiver that presents a large target and can catch anything for his quarterbacks. He works the short and intermediate part of the field well. He looks like he would be a very good chain-mover and possession receiver in the NFL.
  3. Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 228.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.51.
    Projected Round (2012): 2.

From a talent and production Floyd is a first-round pick, but off-the-field concerns could push him down into the second round. Most recently Floyd had a DUI arrest in the spring that caused him to be suspended from the team. He was reinstated, and is on track to play in 2011. Last year, he caught 79 passes for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns. Floyd had a quality sophomore season playing in only seven games across from Golden Tate. In 2009, he caught 44 passes for 795 yards and nine scores. He has good speed to go along with his size and is a polished receiver. Floyd is adept at jump balls and has excellent body control for a big receiver. If he can stay out of trouble, he could be huge value in the second round.
  4. Juron Criner, WR, Arizona
    Height: 6-4. Weight: 210.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
    Projected Round (2012): 2.

Juron Criner decided to return for his senior season with the Wildcats. It was probably a good decision as some personal issues had some wondering if he would play in the 2011 season. Criner showed up for camp on time and allegedly is not dealing with off-the-field issues. Last season, Criner had a massive year for Arizona. He caught 82 passes for 1,233 yards and 11 touchdowns. He repeatedly bailed out quarterback Nick Foles on deep passes that were tossed up for grabs. Criner uses his size, body control, and leaping ability to come down with some big catches. There are faster receivers than Criner, but he provides good hands with a big target and still runs well.

Betting Predictions – How to make winning predictions in sports

June 3rd, 2011 by admin

There are as many different ways to make sports betting decisions as there are personalities and personality types. Finding the key strategy to maximize your winnings is an eternal quest no matter what your betting personality type. When you have as much relevant information as possible, you know how to make winning predictions in sports which fits your personal style.

When you buy a home or purchase a car or other big ticket item, you research to be sure your money is invested wisely. The exact same idea behind many other financial investments in life also applies to betting. Do your homework. Doing your homework means that you are making an informed decision that you feel confident about.

Obviously, if you love to watch all the March Madness games or tune in for the NBA, you do not need to be betting on an NHL match. When you follow a certain sport and focus in on a treasured team, you know their strengths and weaknesses and have a much more informed view of how they might fare in their next match than your average gambler.

When you do your homework, you have a much better chance of seeing winning profits. Exploiting the ignorance of the average bettor is what many bookmakers and other high stakes gamblers do best. Be like Yogi Bear and be “smarter than the average bear” when it comes to choosing sports picks.

You improve your chance of making a winning prediction when you become an expert in how a specific area in a certain sport operates and the various intricacies of the competition. Many successful gamblers have used this focus and knowledge about one specific area to their financial advantage.

With internet availability, gamblers have access to numerous odds comparison web sites. Therefore, it’s possible to check the various odds offered by all the major bookmakers on an event, and select the sports- book which offers the best value. June 2nd, 2011 by admin

Sports gamblers who bet on the NFL regularly use point spreads for betting. This is fine if your spreads are developed from good information and statistics. IF you truly want to use your NFL picks as a source of passive income, then you want the most current fact-based insights possible. It is possible to develop your passive income substantially from NFL
picks when you have that information.

When you understand why you can win in the first place, it is possible and probable to make money with spreads in the NFL. Sports books do not control all the factors and probabilities like the books do in other games like Blackjack or Texas Holdem. There are well-known point scenarios which will give bettors the maximum probability of a winning pick. Using those scenarios to your own fiscal advantage means you can be doing something fun and be earning income whilst you do it.

In case you weren’t already aware, passive income is income generated with little effort required to maintain it. In NFL betting, the fastest and easiest way to make money with point spreads is to identify the advantageous spread situations and only place bets that are well advised. Another method of obtaining the proof in the pudding is by using a well-qualified sports betting advice service.

NFL Picks that consistently win

May 27th, 2011 by admin

Enjoying your Sunday afternoon NFL game is a most common pastime. In fact, the NFL is the most bet upon sport nationwide — in many different nations. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat are all the more intense when you have a wager on a particular team, game, or point spread. When you know how to make NFL picks that consistently win, it can be all that much more exciting as well.

Using NFL expert picks to consistently win NFL wagers on either Sunday afternoon or Monday night is perhaps the most efficient and effective way to make some extra money while enjoying a sport you are passionate about. There are so many online betting services providing information about picks that it is important to have a few dos and don’ts about things to avoid.

Services that offer gimmicks like a sure fire two or three team parlay or another complicated betting technique definitely require a closer look. Sticking to straight wager-making; not stringing together two or three events in a row will get you further economically. The odds of having a winner dramatically decrease when you are betting more than just a straight forward winning bet.

There are many services out there in the internet ether, so be sure you have a very clear understanding of the sports betting services’ track record of success. You should take the information a service offers with a grain of salt if they are not open to sharing past results — either good or bad.

When you choose a service who is charging for each pick, your initial outlay may be so much that even if you do win, your investment is not covered. Services with flat monthly fees or ones that will share their statistical information they use to make picks give the optimal chance of solid weekly profits.

Finding your winning NFL picks by using a reliable service means you’re getting expert advice and information. By being aware of some basic pitfalls, you can make an informed choice. For more information about NFL picks that consistently win, contact IGSportspicks.com.

NBA Picks – Discover the value of quality NBA Picks (2011)

May 19th, 2011 by admin

With the recent shocking trade of Chauncey Billups and Carmelo Anthony for several unknown New York Knicks players, it’s looking like the end of the 2011 NBA season will be full of surprises in terms of upsets, upstarts, and team line-ups. The quest for the championship ring is long and arduous. There are so many adrenalin-fueled heart-stopping games that finding quality NBA picks can seem daunting. Knowing who the star players are and determining which players have the most heart and give the most value to their team is a good starting point for picks. However, the main concern still revolves around growth of a singular sensation in terms of team achievement; not who best fits the MVP category of the game or season.

Reviewing NBA news, trends, and league trades is vital information. By delving more deeply into player acquisitions, new coaches and coaching styles, team management, and how well teams play together for the highest good of all concerned, you can make informed, winning picks on a regular basis. Understanding the relevance and significance about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts can be clearly seen especially if the player is a leading figure in points, rebounds, or blocks.

Having resources which provide statistical data and information is crucial in the formulation and development of new and effective strategies in choosing the appropriate team or player. By understanding individual performances, team rosters, and style of play; better, more innovative analysis can be made. For further information on discovering the value of quality NBA picks, sign on with IGSportspicks.com.
